Elite Human Hair can last years with the proper care.
Our hair is natural, unprocessed, virgin human hair, so the #1 rule is, treat it like it is your own hair.
Washing your hair
We recommend washing your hair at least twice a week with a good quality shampoo and conditioner. Also, we recommend washing your hair in gentle downward strokes. Do not crunch your hair all together; this will result in tangles. Condition your hair in the shower and rinse it out. A conditioner with keratin protein is excellent for hair extensions and weaves because it provides moisture and silkiness to hair that is not getting its nutrients naturally from the scalp. Washing your hair often and using a conditioner with keratin will help your hair detangle, brush more effortlessly, and make it looking silky and feeling soft. Lastly, please be mindful of leave-in conditioners and styling products. When left in for a few days, it will result in build-up and leave your hair looking stringy and sticky.
Drying your hair
We recommend letting your hair air dry; this will yield the best results. Heat is hair extensions worst enemy. The more heat you use, the more damaged your hair will get. If time is a factor, use a blow dryer with a diffuser. When you blow dry your hair without a diffuser, it will flatten the natural wave patterns.
Installing your hair
To keep your wefts in good condition, reusable, and shed free, we recommend your stylist do two things:
1. Apply weft sealer at each end of the cut weft, this is where most shedding comes from.
2. Sew around the weft and not through the weft. This will stop the weft from loosening and ensure a tight, secure and shed free weft.
